I don't know...Believe it or not, the universe is vast as it is cold. It's chock full of elements and energy, swirling and churning since long before the first strand of DNA replicated. Stars, spinning and flashing, existed long before eyes perceived them. The worlds gathered from the dust of dead stars, and one one such world, stray dusts bonded together in an unlikely way, producing small organisms that scuttled around primordial seas, and, instead of fizzling back into the nothingness that created them, they reproduced.
